2) What are you excited about in your industry in the next year? How is Dasera addressing it?

Companies are leveraging their data to improve decision-making, increase efficiency, and improve business outcomes. To drive value from data, access must be given to many individuals, which increases the risk of data breaches, privacy violations and configuration mistakes. At Dasera, we balance this equation by helping customers understand the four data variables, including data infrastructure, the data and its attributes, data users, and data usage, to minimize risk while maximizing value. We call it bending the curve.

Dasera’s Differentiators:

  1. Automation & Orchestration: Dasera automates data security and governance controls, enabling security and data teams to focus on high-value decision-making rather than repetitive, manual tasks. Dasera enables cross-functional teams to move faster and with greater precision and confidence.
  2. Data-In-Use Monitoring: Dasera’s data-in-use monitoring and risk analysis capability provides real-time monitoring, analysis, and remediation of risky data usage across the entire data lifecycle. Dasera achieves this by using a sophisticated AI-assisted query-analysis simulator that can predict the intent and behavior of every query in a company’s data infrastructure. This functionality allows companies to profile every employee, contractor, and BI tool for data usage risk.

Open Standard APIs: Dasera’s open standard APIs allows for bi-directional integration into any part of an organization’s data ecosystem. Data custodians have a contextualized 360-degree view of their data infrastructure, data, data users, and data usage from multiple sources.
