1) What is Cerby?
Cerby is a security automation platform that helps with the “final mile” of cybersecurity. We work with enterprises like L’Oreal, Colgate, and Fox to automate common security tasks that often fall to non-IT business users, like updating a leaked password, configuring Two-Factor Authentication, or removing access for a former employee. By automating otherwise manual security tasks, Cerby drastically reduces the most exploitable attack surface available to threat actors.
2) What are you excited about in 2024?
I am most excited about fine-tuning and scaling our Go-to-Market motion. We are at a point where we’ve established a foothold with F2000 customers, and the focus now is how to build a repeatable and scalable motion that can go beyond that initial customer set. In our case, the role partners play is key, so we are also learning to leverage our partners at the right time and in the right opportunities.
3) What have you enjoyed about working with Tau?
The Tau network! The Tau Ventures team has been extraordinarily helpful in connecting us with prospects and integration partners that have accelerated our bookings engine. In one particular case, we were having zero success connecting with a well-known Electronic Health Records (EHR) platform. One email introduction from Tau later, and we got sandbox access to a key system that has helped us sign several hundreds of thousands in ARR.
