Amit Garg
Partner
Amit focuses mostly on digital health and a little bit on automation / logistics. He has been in Silicon Valley for 20+ years — at Samsung NEXT Ventures, cofounded HealthIQ, at Norwest Ventures, and did product and analytics at Google.
His academic training is BS in computer science and MS in biomedical informatics, both from Stanford, and MBA from Harvard. Amit was born / raised in Brazil, speaks natively 3 languages, lives carbon-neutral, is a 70.3 Ironman finisher, and has built a hospital in rural India serving 100,000 people.

Sanjay Rao
Partner
Sanjay focuses on enterprise and automation investments at Tau Ventures. Earlier, he was a program manager at Microsoft, a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, a venture investor at Norwest Venture Partners, and a co-founder of an automation startup.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelors and masters degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT. He also served on the MIT Corporation (Board of Trustees) for 5 years and on the MIT Alumni Association Board for three years.

Sharon Huang
Vice President
Prior to Tau, Sharon worked at Novartis – on analyzing therapeutic pipelines and strategizing internal business solutions, and at the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub as a full-time software engineer – building an automated pipeline for protein and genomic sequencing. Her academic background is a bachelor’s in computer science and a master’s in epidemiology from Stanford University, where she co-wrote and TA’ed a Ph.D. course in computational protein folding, and enjoyed being a Division I fencer. She currently resides in New York, continuing her medical training at Mt. Sinai, and enjoys traversing the city’s social dance & EDM scene. Insoo Chang
Vice President
Insoo focuses on enterprise AI and Fintech investments at Tau Ventures. Prior to joining Tau, Insoo was a Senior Vice President at Citigroup’s Strategic Investment Team, executing on inorganic growth initiatives and investing in nascent WealthTech startups primarily in Seed and Series-A stages. He also cofounded NotedSource (https://notedsource.io/), an AI-powered platform that provides access to research information and expertise. Born in South Korea, Insoo speaks both Korean and English fluently and loves to be active, particularly by playing basketball, running, and hiking; he recently climbed to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro and ran the SF Marathon.
Insoo holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelors degrees in economics from Cornell University.

Sam Bogrov
Vice President
Sam Bogrov focuses on healthcare investments at Tau Ventures. Prior to joining Tau, he was a Principal at Pediatric Associates, where he led M&A integration and financial operations across four of the company’s eight states. Earlier in his career, Sam worked in private equity at Investindustrial and Platinum Equity, and began his professional journey in the M&A and restructuring group at Oppenheimer & Co.
Sam’s interest in healthcare is deeply personal — shaped by his experience navigating the complexities of the U.S. healthcare system after being diagnosed with a rare medical condition. This perspective fuels his passion for investing in AI-driven solutions that enhance care delivery and access.
Originally from Baltimore, Sam is a lifelong Ravens fan. He practices meditation daily and enjoys staying active — most recently taking up ice hockey during his MBA.
Sam holds an MBA from The Wharton School, where he majored in Healthcare Management. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Psychology from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s in Finance from Claremont McKenna College.
